Sidewise

Previous Project

Sidewise aims to make meetings, especially design and decision-making meetings as productive as possible by reducing the time and effort spent on coordination and recording of minutes. Sidewise is a two-sided spinning display equipped with touch-screen functionality. Sidewise facilitates the formation of sub-teams, within the context of the meeting room, to discuss details regarding the larger on-going discussion or presentation. Sidewise provides a cue for breaking away from the meeting, the interface for working in the context of the on-going discussion or presentation and to integrate back into the digital information space. Sidewise's interface facilitates viewing 3D objects, customizing visibility and making real-time decisions for digital space. Supported by Steelcase.
